Marvel held their television series panel earlier at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA and they brought plenty of surprises. It was announced that Daredevil has been picked up by Netflix for a third season. (Hooray!) In keeping with surprises Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) showed up and spoke about how much the character means to fans.

“Look I’ve said it before, I know how much he means to you guys, and I take that with me everyday.”

Unfortunately there was no news about The Punisher series, but there was still plenty of news to satisfy fans.

From here Marvel decided to show off some teaser footage of the shows they are currently working on. First up the much anticipated spin-off to Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Luke Cage. Based off of the classic Marvel comic Luke Cage Hero For Hire, it stars Mike Colter in the title role. While the series was teased in the last season of Daredevil, Marvel premiered a teaser for the show during the panel.

Luke Cage will premiere on Netflix Sept. 30.

Marvel has been busy expanding their television universe and another show that fans have been waiting to see footage from is Iron Fist. Marvel didn’t let them down. Iron Fist stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, and this teaser gives us a small look at what’s in store when the series premieres in 2017.

But the news didn’t stop there. Marvel had another trick up their sleeve and unleashed an epic surprise with a teaser for The Defenders! They didn’t have any actual footage to show, but we know that this will bring the Netflix/TV-verse characters of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist together for what will be an epic series with lots of hallway and stairwell beat downs.

Marvel has done such an amazing job with these shows and we can’t wait to binge every season of each show.

What say you?
